Alise Allam (Administrator/ Manufacturer)

I previously worked in training, delivering essential skills and functional skills to learners through out England and Wales. During COVID I gave birth to my daughter and decided I needed a change in career. My grandfather decided to take me on as an administrator at Fairmitre Windows Cardiff in Nov 21. I then went on to learn different aspects of the factory, such as Beading UPVC windows and doors to hanging windows. I am consistently learning about the job and absolutely love coming into work, helping customers on a daily basis and learning new things. I have recently started assisting with fitting windows and doors and realised that being a woman in this industry can be tough, but I am so looking forward to seeing where our little family business takes us in the future.
